  personally i think the people that exercise that right are stupid. having a gun in the house is more 5 times more likely to kill you or a family member then an actual intruder. suicide and domestic violence rates increase in homes with guns as well. even if people are smarter then usual about it and lock their unloaded guns and lock their ammunition in seperate places then it kinda defeats the purpose of having one because an intruder is not going give you 5 minutes to unlock everything and put it together. basically, im completely agreeing with you. :-D
